The new electronic combination lock from Link Lockers provides a keyless locking solution suitable for all environments.

This economical lock removes the problems and expense of lost and replacement keys in an elegant, simple to use solution. Locker users benefit from a choice of dedicated or free compartment use and site managers have a simple to administer and maintain locker facility for minimum disruption and maximum security.

Operating Modes

Available in two operational modes, the electronic combination lock allows sites to be organised to suit the specific needs of users and site managers.

Dedicated compartment use

• Compartments are closed and dedicated to an individual user
• Compartments are opened using a unique four digit code allocated to the user
  

Free compartment use

• Compartments are open and can be freely selected by users
• Each compartment is closed and opened by a four digit code
• Code is entered by the user at point of use
• Code is cleared for next user or repeat usage after the compartment is opened
  

The programmable lock is completely freestanding, avoiding the need for wiring and additional installation outlay.

Master Codes

Locker installations fitted with the electronic combination lock can be opened by site administrators with a master code. This is unique to each site and is selected by the site manager. Sub-master codes can also be programmed in on site to provide management of discrete areas such as female and male changing rooms.

Master codes allow user codes to be set up, changed or deleted and are also used to change lock function from dedicated to free compartment use or vice versa.

IP Rating

Electronic combination locks have an IP54 rating making them suitable for use in applications with spray water i.e. not water under pressure.

Power

Locks are powered by 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries providing well in excess of 15 000 opening. The batteries can be easily replaced and should be disposed of in accordance with EU Battery Directive April 2008.

If the lock cannot be opened due to power failure from the batteries, an override is also available to allow the compartment to be opened.
