Case Study

NOM Dairy
NOM Dairy UK Ltd selected Link Lockers to supply lockers and bench seating for its new production plant in Telford, allowing staff to store personal possessions and day clothes, as well as to collect and return uniforms and workwear.
All Link Lockers steel lockers feature BioCotereg; anti-microbial protection as standard. BioCote® is the only silver-based anti-microbial technology to be proven in field tests to help reduce levels of bacteria, mould and fungi by 95%. This added protection helps NOM Dairy to reduce the risks of bacterial cross-contamination ensuring the highest hygiene standards are maintained throughout the facility. The lockers chosen by NOM Dairy include a mix of Garment Management Lockers and Personal Storage Lockers. This mix allows for the separate storage of personal clothing items and possessions and dirty workwear. By installing Garment Management Lockers workwear items can easily be issued at the beginning of a shift by garment dispenser’s ensuring fresh workwear items and protective clothing is issued daily. The locker installation also includes:
- An additional shelf allowing the locker user to keep day-wear separate from workwear
- Integral seating to provide a comfortable changing area
- Sloping tops to prevent litter accumulating on top of the lockers
Steven Oliver, Head of Quality at NOM comments: "In addition to supplying the locker and benching solution to match our specific requirements, Link Lockers also provided a delivery and installation schedule which dovetailed with the build programme."
