Our Heritage

Link Lockers was formed in 1970 from the acquisition of two companies, The Constructors Ltd and Summerfields Ltd and in 1971 the Link Lockers range of products was born.

As the first UK manufacturer to offer colour options, we led the market away from the utilitarian office furniture colours which were prevalent in the 1970s and our value for money proposition ensured we quickly became the UK market leader.

We added further ranges to our core product rage in the late seventies and early eighties including the launch of our sports locker range and wet area lockers in response to increasing market pressure as health clubs and hotel/leisure complexes flourished.

Even after 30 years in the market, Link Lockers is still leading the way in product innovation, being the first UK locker manufacturer to introduce an anti-bacterial element BioCote® into its standard paint finish. This partnership with BioCote® has played an integral part in maintaining Link Lockers as the brand leader in our core markets and the major holder of market share in the UK.
